Course Overview

This qualification is intended to provide individuals with knowledge of the hazards and risks associated with fire in the work place, how fire risk is controlled in the work place, the principles and practice of fire safety management at work, and the role of the fire marshal.

Who is this course for?

Any employee, but in particular non -managerial staff, who may not be fully aware of the role they play in fire safety. This course will help develop the employee’s basic fire safety awareness.

Learning objectives

Assessment

Multiple choice assessment. Following completion of the course and a successful pass mark in the assessment, learners will receive the Highfield Level 2Award in the Principles of Fire Safety (RQF)
